Marble’s Heart has been inspired by a personal contemplation of florentine sculptures.
The composition techniques are created as an “imitation” of renaissance sculpting techniques. At fist, superpositions of “mixolydian” and “Ionian” modes creating impenetrable textures. Then “sculpted” and slowly clarified, revealing delicate melodic lines. Melodies that have been present all the time but hidden between initial chords.
