2013 – S.O.N.I.C. ‘s Marimbula

Skills: Installation & Multimedia, Pieces

Interactive light and musical installation that allows multiple participants to create an electronic music light show. Using pre-recorded content, for unlimited hours the audience push buttons that simultaneously trigger sound loops and light patterns with up to 16 tridimensional sculptures placed in an open air space.
Like a DJ/VJ but for light sculptures!
This work is part of a larger project called S.O.N.I.C that stands for Synchronized Optical Network of Interactive Compositions. A group of artists from different disciplines have created it as a platform to develop collective and multidisciplinary digital art pieces.
