2015 – “Cartas a Leo Kopp”

Leo Kopp (1858-1927). German businessman and founder the first beer brewery in Colombia. Known for his philanthropic acts, becomes one of the most important “saints” after his death. His statue at the Central Cementery of Bogotá, is worshiped by people asking for miracles.
The two artists communicate through letters, between Bogotá and Berlin, with Kopp as a leitmotif. Reflections on the gesture, memory, ritual and the meaning of homeland.
